Artist's Comments

Though leaves may drift from where they fall, we are all connected.

I have seen a lot of people do fractal trees, here's my first attempt. I do not mean to necessarily imply "god" in this image/meaning, only whatever energy you feel "god" is--as it binds us all, whether we like it or not.

Enjoy!!

Very nice outcome. Really well done, seeing as I can make out the tree shape and a hooded figure at the same time. It conveyed exactly what you described, before I even read the explanation.

ARG! It won't go any bigger!! I want to see all the detail you put into this. I can't even tell you all the ways I love it!!

Is this the piece you were telling me about that was different? Either way, it is phenomenal. How all the elements are coiled together, it reminds me of Celtic or Mideival art.

I love how the outer edges are a soft serene :meditation: blue, while the focal point is such an intense hue. That and how the light of it seems to trickle through every facet of its being. You are so wonderful at creating depth. :w00t:

"At the temple, there is a poem called "Loss" carved into the stone. It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out. You cannot read Loss, only feel it."

Come back a bit later--then it'll work I'm sure :)
I will give a longer response at that time.. have to run now!!!!!

....full-view works just dandy, I just wish the image was larger. That size doesn't do all your detail justice.

Also, I just made the deviation image larger. Is that better you think?

I see you went with the first version, good choice.
I love it, i think the simpler version is actually more powerful. Plus its blue, i love blue!
